Set Photo Of Star Trek Discovery Crew Emerges
Despite delays in production and Bryan Fuller pulling out, the show is set for release later this year. Casting revelations have been coming thick and fast as the filming gets underway, with captains, Klingons and scientists starting to fill the ships.
We still aren’t sure of the storyline, as the producers have been pretty tight-lipped when it comes to the plot. We know it is pre-TOS and post-ENT, and we know that the series will have a darker, more forward-thinking approach than the others. Klingons are involved and new alien species will also feature.
We now have a set photo of the cast:
Left To Right: Jason Isaacs (the U.S.S. Discovery’s Captain Lorca), Michelle Yeoh (Captain of the U.S.S. Shenzhou Georgiou), Chris Obi (Klingon boss T’Kuvma), Sonequa Martin-Green (Lieutenant Commander Rainsford), her husband, Doug Jones (Lieutenant Saru, Science Officer) James Frain, and Shazad Latif (Klingon – Kol).
The crew pic follows on from a recent picture of the set on Twitter:
“Star Trek Discovery” should now premiere “late summer/early fall,” CBS boss Leslie Moonves said Monday during his time on stage at the 2017 Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference.
